Tryeido Privacy Policy

Tryeido is an AI-powered virtual try-on experience embedded into participating merchant websites. Tryeido is a product of Technosys Solutions Inc. ("Technosys Solutions", "we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over your data. It applies to shoppers using the Tryeido widget on any merchant site and to merchants using the Tryeido dashboard.

Tryeido is the data controller for shopper data. When you use the try-on widget on any participating merchant's site, you are creating an account directly with Tryeido — not with the merchant. The merchant has no access to your photos, measurements, or try-on outputs; they only see aggregate analytics about widget usage on their site. We decide retention, security, sub-processors, and deletion. Your data subject rights (access, erasure, correction, portability) are exercised against Tryeido, not the merchant.

1. What information we collect

  • Photos you upload or capture for try-on (front, back, left, right poses, plus an optional size-pose photo).
  • Body measurements derived from your photos by our AI for size recommendation purposes only.
  • Account information if you sign up: name, email, password hash, optional family-member profile data.
  • Session identifiers for the active try-on session.
  • Anonymous technical data: device type, browser, approximate region, usage patterns. Used for product improvement and abuse prevention.

2. How your photos are used

Photos are used exclusively to generate the try-on previews you request. They are processed in our secure infrastructure and never:

  • Sold or rented to third parties.
  • Shared with advertisers, AI training partners, or marketing platforms.
  • Used to train any AI model.
  • Made publicly accessible.
  • Visible to the merchant whose store you're using the widget on. Merchants see aggregate analytics (try-on counts, conversion rates), never your photos.

3. How long we keep your data

Default retention: 180 days of inactivity. If you don't use Tryeido for 180 days, your photos and try-on artifacts are automatically deleted by an overnight job. Authenticated account information (email, name) is retained until you close the account.

You can delete on demand. The "Delete my photos and try-ons" button in the widget privacy screen wipes all your photos, body measurements, try-on history, and family-member profiles immediately. Your account email stays so you can sign back in later if you wish.

4. How we protect your data

  • Encrypted at rest. Photos and try-on outputs are stored in encrypted object storage (server-side AES-256 with platform-managed keys).
  • Encrypted in transit. All connections use TLS 1.2 or higher.
  • Per-shopper isolation. Photos are partitioned per shopper and never accessible across tenants.
  • Content moderation at upload. Every photo is checked by a server-side NSFW detector before it touches storage. Off-policy uploads are rejected.
  • Access control. Only authorised Tryeido personnel may access data, and only when required for system operation. Every access is logged.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under GDPR (EU), India DPDP, or CCPA / CPRA (California). Tryeido offers the following to all shoppers regardless of jurisdiction:

  • Right to access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to erasure — delete your photos and try-on history at any time via the widget privacy screen.
  • Right to correction — update profile information via the widget account screen or by emailing us.
  • Right to portability — request a JSON + ZIP export of all data we hold about you (currently via email request; in-product export is on the roadmap).
  • Right to withdraw consent — by deleting your data, the consent under which we processed it is withdrawn.
  • Right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (e.g. ICO in the UK, CNIL in France).

Email privacy@tryeido.com to exercise any right. We respond within 30 days (GDPR Article 12 SLA), usually faster.

6. AI limitations and accuracy disclaimer

AI-generated try-on results are estimates intended to help you visualise fit and appearance. Differences in lighting, posture, camera quality, body orientation, or fabric drape mean results may sometimes be inaccurate or imperfect. Tryeido does not guarantee exact fit, size, color accuracy, or final product appearance. Use as a visual aid, not a measurement tool.

7. Children's privacy

Tryeido is not intended for use by individuals under 16 years of age (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). If you believe a minor has used the service, contact us and we will erase the data immediately.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top, and significant changes will be communicated to authenticated users by email. The current version always lives at this URL.
